CORE RETURN ITEMS

Due toecological awareness and care for the environment, core credit is increasinglycommon in sales of replacement parts for vehicles. The consumer (buyer) pays adeposit before the seller delivers a new or restored replacement part. Thedeposit is determined by the replacement part manufacturer. The item that thebuyer sent to the seller is then sent to the replacement part manufacturer, whoassesses and checks the core. If the item matches the core acceptance criteria, the core is approved and the consumer (buyer) is notified about the acceptance, and is then awarded a credit or reimbursed for the deposit for the product totheir bank account. In the event that the manufacturer rejects the core due toexcessive damage, the core is returned to the consumer (buyer) as soon aspossible, while the deposit paid for the product is not reimbursed. Productpurchase without payment of a deposit is not possible when such payment isrequired.

Core returnitems are generally found in braking systems (brake callipers), alternators, starters, steering wheel columns, vehicle clutches (truck programme),turbochargers, water pumps (OE), and other specific items.
