NEW BARTOG BRANCH IN MARIBOR: Bigger and more accessible to users

Bartog has been present in Slovenia's second-largest city with a branch since 2017. Since 21 October this year, Maribor BU has been operating in a new location at the address 2 Perhavčeva ulica in Tezno Industrial Zone (entrance to TAM). This location is busier, more accessible to customers and the branch itself is much larger and more modern. The new branch has a large sales area, totalling 500m2. It offers a more pleasant user experience for even the most demanding customers, and allows employees to work in modern, well-designed premises. The great advantage of the new location is the direct access to the branch and numerous parking spaces in front of the shop.

The opening ceremony of the renovated branch on Friday, supported by our suppliers Textar, Osram, Coopers Fiaam and Meyle, Bartog CEO Sašo Šimec expressed his satisfaction with the successful work and congratulated the Styria team, led by the manager Vojko Ferš. The latter describes his team "as a mixture of experience and youth. The guys are enthusiastic, they love their work, they are hungry for knowledge, they are friendly to customers… In short, we are a great team."
Multiple deliveries per day
As explained by Igor Slatinek, Retail Director at Bartog, the new branch is a true asset for several reasons. "The previous branch was smaller, we were limited in many ways. Now we can satisfy even the most demanding customers, offering a much wider range and more deliveries per day." The goods from the Mirna Peč logistics centre are delivered daily throughout Slovenia in more than 70 delivery vehicles, and also to Croatia and other countries in cooperation with the parent company Tokić. With their logistics across Slovenia, they want to make the work of all technicians as easy as possible, thus directly raising the level of service as well as safety and satisfaction of all road users.
Bartog, one of Slovenia's leaders in tyres, spare parts, accessories and servicing for all types of vehicles, has taken a major step forward in its development and operations after joining the Croatian Tokić Group in early 2021. As CEO Sašo Šimec said, the trend of renewal and expansion of the sales network will continue in 2022. Besides Maribor, they have renovated or reopened branches in Nova Gorica, Kamnik, Litija, Ljubno ob Savinji, Metlika, Črnomelj and Jesenice.
Continuing to benefit the local community Ivan Šantorić, Chairman of the Board in Tokić Group, presented a donation at the opening of the new branch in Maribor to Aleš Smole, the Principal of the Technical School Centre Maribor. This will come in handy for the School Centre, which, among other programmes, provides education in the secondary programmes for motor vehicle body repairer, car mechanic and auto-service technician, and also runs a higher education study programme in Automotive Service Management.
