BARTOG'S REVENUES GREW BY OVER 20% LAST YEAR

Trebnje-based Bartog, one of the leading companies in the field of tyres, spare parts, accessories and servicing of all types of vehicles in Slovenia, is still doing very well after joining the Croatian Tokić Group. Revenues grew by a fifth to €67 million last year, the company expanded its sales network and market share, and it has invested heavily.

“Today, Bartog is a professionally managed company and a proud member of a group that is a leader in the region,” tells Sašo Šimec, Executive Director as of January. "By joining, we are even bigger as a group and have a better negotiating position in purchasing, as well as many more possibilities and opportunities in terms of cost synergies, supply chain synergies, exchange of experience and know-how within the group, modernisation of processes… Above all, the advantages are seen in the breadth of the product range, new programmes such as tools and service equipment, the industrial segment, electric vehicles chargers and more. Looking at the product offering, Bartog was previously known as the leading supplier of car tyres in Slovenia, while Tokić has developed as the leading supplier of car parts in Croatia. We have had a lot of cross-sections in markets, which means a lot of synergy potential. This has opened up an additional market for car parts in Slovenia for Tokić and the tyre market in Croatia for Bartog."
